Our Happy Team
We find it inspiring at the end of a session to see our clients transformed, glowing and full of joy. Whether we work with individuals or groups, our aim is to help everyone to be happy, contented and relaxed. Our Lead Therapist, Amy Appleby, stumbled across meditation and yoga in 1988 and thus began a journey which continues today. Training in therapeutic techniques in the UK, India and the USA, she was taught a broad range of approaches which she now supports her therapists to dynamically incorporate into their treatments and workshops.
Amy has travelled independently throughout the world, meditating with monks in China, studying massage in India, dancing in open markets in Ghana. This has influenced the way she moves, works, thinks, and how she and her team can help you to release some of the restrictions modern life places on our minds and bodies.
Having also worked within the NHS, Amy has a solid grounding in Anatomy and Physiology, a working knowledge of a wide range of health conditions and a good understanding of the mechanics of the NHS.
All of these experiences help us to better understand your state of health, wellbeing and what you hope to achieve through engaging in complementary therapy. Following an initial health and lifestyle consultation, taking into account your goals of treatment, we combine different therapies and approaches to adapt to your individual needs.
Amy Appleby is the lead Therapist at Happy Healthy Holistic. She oversees the team and runs workshops and 1-1 sessions for individuals and organisations, helping people to become happier, healthier, relaxed, more efficient and therefore, more effective. Amy is DBS checked and a professional member of The Complementary Therapist's Association (The CThA).
