Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is used to address a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, relationship problems, grief, stress, eating disorders, substance abuse and addiction, self-esteem and self-identity issues, obsessive compulsive disorder and more. It provides a safe and confidential environment for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescence or groups to work through emotional, psychological and behavioural challenges. It is a collaborative and therapeutic process that aims to bring about positive change, personal growth, and improved functioning in various aspects of a person's life in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. The goals of psychotherapy are individualized and may evolve over the course of therapy as the client's needs and circumstances change. There are many different approaches to psychotherapy developed from Freud's initial theoretical formulations. Now in the 21st century there is a vast field of different talking therapies and counselling. Our therapists offer a variety of therapies depending on your individual needs that are integrative and adapted to you.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that involves inducing a trance like state of deep relaxation and focus in the client, allowing them to be more receptive to suggestions and to be able to explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions better. It combines elements of hypnosis and psychotherapy to address and alleviate a wide range of concerns, including fears and phobias, anxiety, insomnia, pain management, and addictions.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a evidence based type of psychotherapy, that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It is grounded in the idea that our thoughts and beliefs about events and situations influence our emotional responses and behaviours. CBT helps to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, it teaches you to think in less negative way. Cognitive behavioural therapy is useful for helping you to reach your goals, overcome irrational fears, every day anxiety, low self-esteem, social-phobia, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, overcome substance misuse, insomnia, eating problems, and other emotional issues.
Group Therapy
Support groups help people come together to share their experiences, emotions, and perspectives in a safe and supportive environment. This type of therapy can be very empowering, offers emotional support, focuses on shared experiences and enhances your self-discovery and personal growth.
Family Constellations
Family Constellation Work - Family constellation work, also known as family constellations therapy or systemic constellations, is a therapeutic approach that aims to uncover hidden dynamics within a family system and promote healing. It is often used to address a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychological issues.
12 Step Programme
The 12-Step program is a set of guiding principles and a structured approach to addiction recovery that has been widely adopted by various self-help and support groups. It was originally developed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and has since been adapted for use in recovery from various forms of addiction, including substance abuse, alcoholism, gambling addiction, and more. The 12-Step program is founded on the belief that individuals with addiction issues can achieve and maintain sobriety through spiritual and personal growth.
